Rooster Teeth: RWBY Movie Poster Contest Entry #1


Hey all! I decided to put the full size version up here. It's nice working with a large canvas size again. As the title states, this is for the RWBY Movie Poster Contest on the Rooster Teeth website. I had a hard time picking an idea but I decided to try to get the feel of when just the first trailer was out and no other info than an acronym and a cape. The red trailer is beautiful and dramatic which is how I feel movie posters should be. I tried to make it look official but I didn't want too much text. The only part that took forever was shading each individual rose petal but I think it was worth it. d:
